In my head I had it al figured out, how to draw and how to work in photoshop and epoxy. The result I have now is not satisfying enough though. I have to work some more on the computer but not tonight. This will be a longer project than I anticipated but still interesting! I really need to print this picture and draw by hand and pencil and maybe ink.
And how to create some depth in this image? It should look like smoke in a milky substance. Maybe I should blow some smoke through water and make pics, or smoke in air and take pics.

Tomorrow I start on making a artificial marble plaquette. It will be a design for another barcode sculpture, made in epoxy. The progress can be read right here.

With some phantasy this could be a fingerprint, it should be less round and have more edges though. I tried to squeeze a round shape all evening and still keep a recognizeable face. Tomorrow I print this one and continue with pencil on paper and maybe some paint. The face is distorted but it shouldn’t be. With a break from my study I can work on this idea and grow in the barcode works. I have another one that I show when I did my pencilwork.

Yesterday I wrote to some more companies and fablab for prices on lasercuts for my foam sculpture and barcode portraits cards. I am waiting for their reply now. Today I try to experiment on a fingerprint papercut too, I start where I cracked last time.
